Annual Election of the Cortlandville Fire District

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Annual Election of the Cortlandville Fire District will take place on December 8 ,2009 between the hours of 6:00 pm and 9:00 pm at the firehouse located at 999 NYS Route 13, Cortland, New York for the purpose of:

 ·        Electing one Commissioner for a 5-year term commencing on January 1st, 2010 and ending on December 31st, 2014·    Electing one Commissioner for a 4-year term commencing on January 1st, 2010         and ending on December 31st, 2013·    Electing one Commissioner for a 1- year term commencing on January 1st, 2010           and ending on December 31st, 2010 

All duly registered residents of the Cortlandville Fire District shall be eligible to vote.

 

LEGAL NOTICE FOR SPECIAL VOTE

OF THE CORTLANDVILLE FIRE DISTRICTON OCTOBER 13, 2009 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT a Special Vote of the Cortlandville Fire District will take place on October 13, 2009 between the hours of 6 pm and 9 pm at the Cortlandville Fire District’s Headquarters Station located at 999 Route 13, Cortland, NY 13045 for the purpose of voting on the following proposition:

     To erect a new Station II located at its current site of 3757 Route 11, Cortland, NY 13045 in the Town of Cortlandville.  The cost to erect the new fire station will not exceed $650,000, with $200,000 be provided from the existing building reserve account, resulting in the Cortlandville Fire District borrowing no more than $450,000 with no increase in taxes to fund said project.

 Shall the resolution of the Board of Fire Commissioners adopted on the 2nd day of September, 2009, be approved.

 

Only residents registered to vote with the Cortland County Board of Elections on or before September 13th, 2009 shall be eligible to vote.

CORTLANDVILLE FIRE DISTRICT

 

PUBLIC HEARING      &

CHANGE IN WORKSHOP MEETING

 

       Please take notice that the Cortlandville Board of Fire Commissioners for the Cortlandville Fire District will hold a public hearing  on  Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at 7PM, for the purpose of considering the proposed fire protection  contract with the Village of McGraw.  The meeting will be held at the  Cortlandville Fire Station Headquarters, 999 Rt. 13, Cortland, NY.

 

       Please take notice that the workshop meeting  that was to be held Monday September 7, 2009, will be canceled due to the holiday.
